By using Stands-Up, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable — not to bury you in legalese.

What Stands-Up Does

Stands-Up is a group motorcycle ride coordination app. It lets riders share their real-time location with their group during active rides, communicate status signals, and follow planned routes together. We're a tool for coordination — we don't control how you ride.

Your Responsibilities

• Ride safely. Stands-Up is a coordination tool, not a navigation safety system. You are responsible for all riding decisions — speed, lane position, route choice, and awareness of traffic. Never interact with the app while the motorcycle is moving.
• Don't use while riding. Set up your route and group before you start. Have a passenger manage the app during the ride, or pull over safely before making any changes.
• Keep your account secure. Don't share your login credentials. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• Use it lawfully. Don't use Stands-Up to coordinate illegal activity, violate traffic laws, or harass other users.

Subscription

Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store). Billing, refunds, and cancellations are handled through your Apple ID account settings. We don't store payment card details.

Limitation of Liability

Stands-Up is a coordination tool. We are not responsible for:

• Riding decisions made during or after using the app
• Accidents, injuries, or damage arising from motorcycle riding
• GPS inaccuracies or connectivity issues that affect location sharing
• Any loss of data due to service interruption

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time directly in the app: tap You, scroll to the bottom of the sheet, and choose Delete Account. Deletion permanently removes your profile, ride history, replays, planned routes, and group memberships, and disables any public share links. If you can no longer access the app, email [email protected] from your account's email address and we'll delete it for you.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we do, we'll notify you by email.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in New Zealand courts.
